Shimmy Shape-up
Stretching, Strengthening & Bellydance techniques to improve your core that will get any dancer into top shape! Wether you want to be a Dancing Diva or just improve your overall wellness, this class is for you. But come prepared for a fun workout and bring a yoga mat and water.
Belly Dance Combos, Choreography and Props
Techniques from Hard Core Bellydance will be applied and the dancer in you emerges! With a strong core you will have a great center developed for Veil, Cane, Sword and other props used in Bellydance Entertainment. This class gives you the option to perform. Lets Belly Dance!

There is no other form of dance like Belly Dance (Raqs Sharqi the proper term meaning Oriental Dance, Dance of the Orient). Regardless of the fact that a lot of fusion has emerged, this dance connects you to a very ancient art form. It makes you aware of your body, mind and soul. Because of this Dance is a HEALING ART.
Some women want to pursue in it going as far as performing for a large audience or just one being (themselves). Whatever the intention, you learn to perceive your self differently as you learn this dance. When you take instruction from me you will earn a different respect for the dance, cultures in general & also a new respect for yourself and wherever you go that CHANGE IN YOURSELF will show.
When you take in the knowledge of this dance it will transform you and it can be empowering and healing in a very positive action. When it completely empowers you, you will want to represent this ancient art in all respectful manners in your life and you will want to share it. It can be life changing. My intention for all my students is to teach a transformation, but the transformation only happens when you open yourself to learning more about your body mind and soul. Please come to my classes and find out what I mean, whether you want to learn this art for healing or entertaining.
